the polish-jewish writer and graphic artist Bruno Schulz was born on 12 july 1892 in Drohobycz and shot dead in Drohobycz by a NAZI officer on 19 november 1942.
in 1971, I chanced upon his literal inheritance.
in 1983/84, 80 of my 300 etchings resulting from that encounter went on tour through Poland.
on 24 february 1989, my work and experiences led to established the Foundation Bruno Schulz Institute, which came to an end on 31 december 2016.

in april 2013, parallel to 'nana de la calle', we started painting, shaping masks and gods out of garbage... in the streets where they lived, their homes; the very beginning of street academy.
